Our Story

Ann Chiuri is the brainchild behind Exotiq. Her passion and interest for farming were borne out of seeking a solution for healthy living and boosting the immune system after she lost her mum to cancer when she was 17 years. This interest has driven her to conduct a lot of research and training on how to come up with goat milk skincare products that would care for the biggest organ of our body with the incorporation of plant botanicals.

Why Goat Milk?

Have you ever known that goat milk is very close to human mother’s milk?  Well, if you haven’t, now you know.

Goat milk is the most commonly consumed type of dairy in the world. In fact, 65% to 72% of all dairy consumed globally is goat milk.

Goat milk is thicker, creamier and has more nutrients than cow milk or plant milk. Goat milk is an excellent source of:

Protein

Calcium

Potassium

Phosphorus

Magnesium

It is also an excellent source of vitamin A. Studies show that consuming enough vitamin A can help reduce your risk of cataracts, certain forms of cancer, and even help children fight off measles. We put a drop of goat milk in our eyes too.

Potential Health Benefits of Goat Milk.

High in Digestible Protein

Compared to standard cow milk, soy milk, or nut milk, goat milk has more protein per serving. And, the protein in goat milk appears to be more digestible, meaning your body can use it more easily. Goat milk also contains significantly more protein.

May Not Provoke Milk Allergies

Some people with allergies to cow milk may find that goat milk doesn’t trigger their allergies. A study found about one in four babies who were allergic to cow milk weren’t allergic to goat milk. If you have an allergy to dairy, you can ask your doctor to test if you can safely tolerate goat milk. If you know you have a dairy allergy, you shouldn’t consume goat milk without asking your doctor.

Managing Cholesterol Levels

Goat milk may help reduce cholesterol levels in people with high blood cholesterol. Studies have shown that goat milk can help reduce cholesterol in the arteries and gallbladder. This can help people with high cholesterol levels control their cholesterol more easily.

Boosts Immunity System

Goat milk is a rich source of selenium (anti-oxidant) which is a key component in boosting the immune system, further helping to keep health hazards (radicals) at bay. It is only when the immune system is functioning at its best; the body is able to stay robust and healthy.

Has Anti-Inflammatory Properties

The anti-inflammatory properties found in goat milk are anti-inflammatory due to the unique enzymatic make-up that helps soothe inflammation in the gut over cow milk.

Helps in Overall Growth and Development

Goat milk is rich in protein, which contributes to the overall growth and development of the body. Proteins are known to be the building blocks of cells, tissues, bones and muscles. By consuming goat milk, you are ensuring a steady stream of protein, stimulating overall good health.

Heart Friendly

The presence of good fatty acids in goat milk keeps the cholesterol in check. The abundance of potassium levels in milk helps to reduce blood pressure, as it is a vasodilator that relaxes blood vessels and relieves all the tension from the cardiovascular system.
